Another poem from the book MOXIE DAY and Family!

Show and Tell

This is my bear. His name is Gray.
I give him loving everyday.
But so much love has worn him down.
He once was gray, but now he's brown.
His old left leg is barely on.
His eye fell off. Now it's gone.
His ear was ripped, but now it's patched.
His button nose came unattached.
Mama had to fix his head.
She looked at Gray, sighed and said,
"This type of love is fine for Gray,
just hope I don't get loved this way."
