Another poem from the book MAINE: The Way Life Is!

Muffs

Long ago lived a boy up in Farmington, Maine
who had cold ears while skating till he used his brain.
He invented ear muffs to keep his ears warm,
but I've thought of a new use, which isn't the norm.
See wearing muffs this way my nose won't get icy.
A garment like this could sell well and be pricey.
"No more froze noses," will be my sales pitch.
With an idea like this I'll be famous and rich!
Of course wearing nose muffs seems odd 'cause it's new,
but what if I have to... I have to... ACHOO!
