Another poem from the book MOXIE DAY and Family!

At the Farm

I heard a rabbit go, "oink oink."
I heard a duck go, "moo."
I heard a pig out in the mud
go, "cock-a-doodle-doo."

I'm sure I heard the horses quack,
and then the roosters neigh.
"Old MacDonald Had a Farm"
was never sung this way.

The sounds these creatures ought to make
are taught in all the schools,
but disregard those lessons learned;
today is April Fool's!
