Brett was originally going to lead this hike, but he got called into work. Frosty and I had run the Millinocket half marathon the day before, so we weren&#8217;t sure how our legs would do on this hike. There were four of us on this trip, Nathan, Christ, Frosty, and myself. We geared up with microspikes, since there was very likely going to be ice. There was a thin layer of snow in most places. We did have a few steps in deeper snow where we postholed and a little bit of bare trail. It was a beautiful day, and the views were spectacular.
